Kim Hedrick has always had a passion for cancer prevention working closely with patients early in her career as a Registered Dietitian and then in the biopharmaceutical industry.  She became involved with NothingPink during it's early stages and her interest continued to grow as she supported the mission.  Her dedication was fueled by the discovery that she also carried a genetic mutation, ATM.  She underwent a prophylactic mastectomy in early 2024 to reduce her risk and observed first hand the work that NothingPink is doing for the community.  Kim is married and keeps busy raising her 2 sons and daughter and being involved in the Fort Mill community.

Meredith Strosser, founder and managing partner of Strosser Wealth Management, is an independent financial advisor through affiliation with LPL Financial. She comes to NothingPink with 14 years of financial experience, 9 of which are licensed. Meredith is a member of the York County Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Duquesne Alumni Leadership Board. When not working, you will most likely see Meredith outdoors, listening to live music, and spending time with family, friends, and her three dogs Sumo, Sophia, and Kona.

Meredith is committed to advancing NothingPink’s mission to promote awareness and accessibility of genetic testing for breast and ovarian cancers.

Georgia has been in the health insurance field since moving to Charlotte, NC in 1996 after obtaining her degree in Public Relations/Communications. She is currently a Strategic Client Consultant at Blue Cross NC where she supports large companies develop and execute their healthcare strategies. She and her husband have a son and daughter that keep them very busy on and off the athletic fields.

Georgia was diagnosed with breast cancer in the spring of 2017. Even as an advocate for supporting women’s causes, she found herself in uncharted territory with no family history of breast cancer.  Georgia discovered the NothingPink foundation through a friend. Inspired by the foundation’s mission, she began volunteering and attended her first event in 2021.

As an advocate for others, Georgia is excited to support NothingPink and its mission to support the women, men, and families impacted by breast cancer.

Becky is a wife and mother to twin girls.  She is the owner of Queen City Accounting Solutions which offers fractional CFO and controller services to small businesses.  A numbers girl at heart focused on empowering organizations with financial data and easing the compliance burden.  Becky has a passion for helping others and serving her community with her accounting background.  When not working, you will find her outside with her family, running at the greenway, or kayaking on the Catawba.  Becky is excited to support the Nothing Pink organization and help to advance its mission to educate and support women on their breast cancer journey.

Kassy‘s passion and heartbeat has always been for people and their stories. She has experienced every facet of the NothingPink organization from event attendee, support group member during her own prophylactic mastectomy in 2018, volunteer, part time employee and now board member.  Over the years, Kassy has remained loyally committed to helping women navigate and advocate for their own health. Kassy is a graduate of Purdue University and began her career in disability case management and later transitioned into Human Resources. In this season of life you can find her chasing after her sweet baby boy, cheering on her older girls, out on the water or plugged into the community. 

Laura has always had a passion for helping others from a young age.  She began teaching CPR/First Aid when she was 14 which then led to being a lifeguard at 16.  It’s no surprise that she then became a Registered Nurse to continue her life’s work. What was a surprise is when she was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 41 and found a new family with Nothing Pink.  After her diagnosis, her passion changed to wanting to help others learn about cancer prevention and cancer support as no one should have to face this journey alone. When not working you can find Laura spending time with her husband and two kids, mostly transporting them from activity to activity. As an advocate for helping others, Laura is dedicated to supporting the Nothing Pink mission to promote awareness of genetic testing and cancer support.
